Car Free Day July 2008
Every month, Jakarta has a special even called CFD (Car Free Day). It will always happen in the 2nd week and 4th week in a month.
In this event main road from Jalan Sudirman to end of road of Jalan MH. Thamrin; it's like about 10Km long of road government banned every vehicle: Car, Motor Bike, Busses, Taxis, accept vehicle fo public.
This road become like our playing field of road. Everyone can do what ever they want to do: sports, jogging, soccer, roller blade, walking dancing, anything!!!
During this event, sky of Jakarta is very clear and fresh compare to the other days. Its obvious!! No Cars, No Machine running, No Pollutions!!
Hope this will followed by other cities in the world....

No takers for Olympic rights in Indonesia
